Typically, Barnacles™ designs can be easily attached and removed from Barnacles™ cases and Barnacles™ backings with a simple snapping and un-snapping motion. However, if more leverage is needed to accomplish these tasks, you may find it beneficial to utilize the Barnacles™ Tool (packaged with every Barnacles™ case for your convenience). If necessary, simply slip either the “large groove” or “small groove” part of the Barnacles™ tool under the Barnacles™ design. Next, lift up, and snap off the design.  

 

 

 

Similarly, a Barnacles™ design can be removed and attached from a Barnacles™ backing with a simple snapping and un-snapping motion. However, you may also find that the Barnacles™ Tool will help with this process, as well. The widest “notch” in the Barnacles™ Tool can be placed in between both the Barnacles™ design and the Barnacles™ and the Barnacles™ backing.  Next, simply “twist” the Barnacles™ Tool, both pieces should separate. Now your  Barnacles™ design is ready to snap into a plastic case. Or, “snap” the Barnacles™ Design onto its backing, once again, if you would like to personalize one of your Silicone Barnacles™ covers.

You may also find that the Barnacles™ tool helps with the removal of the Two-Piece iPhone 3G Crystal Case. Simply place the bottom, most narrow part, of the Barnacles™ Tool at the top right corner of the case at a roughly 45 degree angle, inside the “groove.” Next, push “in and down.” You should feel the two pieces “pop” apart. Repeat this step on the middle-right groove and the bottom-right groove of this case, if necessary.
